Here I Am!

by admin on April 20, 2011

I have been in the Kitchen and Bath Industry for over 25 years now and thought I knew it all but HERE I AM embarking on something new … Oh wait! I still think I know it all, I’m just sharing it all now with you!

There are two themes I always come back to when talking with clients:

The kitchen is the heart of the home!

The pulse of the home is in the kitchen. It is where you cook, eat, entertain, office, watch your kids do their homework, enjoy a glass of wine with your partner while cooking a gourmet meal, look at pictures of your grandchildren on the refrigerator (or on the digital frame!). The kitchen is that place where you start your day and end your day – and for some of us, ahem, hit many more times during the day!

Whatever your age, your interests, your abilities, your kitchen should be designed for YOUR life!

Everyone experiences their kitchen differently and it should be designed to work with your life and downright make you happy! The young family, the aging empty nesters, the two person working no kids couple, the single, the entertainers, the loners – whatever or whoever you are – your kitchen can be designed to fit your needs.

I can’t wait to get started! I’ll cover products, colors, trends, tips on remodels – from small DIY projects to major redos and new construction, plus anything else that pops into my head!

Next week in Las Vegas is KBIS  (the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show) where everyone in this industry comes together to learn from each other through seminars and events, see new and innovative products get updated on all the new trends for the upcoming year. A few years back I was the President of the National Kitchen & Bath Association and what an amazing experience it was to be at this show and in the middle of it all. I continue to go back year after year and whatever my capacity, it never ceases to inspire me.

I have so much to say (and will especially next week after the show) so check back, stay tuned and ya’ll come back now!
